About this video
Hokum (2026) is a Gothic supernatural horror thriller directed and written by Damian McCarthy, starring Adam Scott as novelist Ohm Bauman. After traveling to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, Ohm becomes drawn into unsettling stories about a witch haunting the property’s locked honeymoon suite. As disturbing visions intensify and a guest mysteriously disappears, he is forced to uncover the truth while confronting the darker corners of his own past.
Blending folk horror, psychological horror, supernatural mystery, and witch horror, Hokum creates an eerie atmosphere built around isolation, grief, haunting legends, and unexplained events. The film features Adam Scott alongside Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh, Will O'Connell, Michael Patric, Brendan Conroy, and Austin Amelio.
This 2026 horror film is presented here in 1080p BluRay quality with 5.1 audio, making it suited to viewers looking for atmospheric supernatural horror, psychological suspense, eerie Irish settings, haunted inn stories, witch legends, and dark mystery. Hokum delivers a tense journey into a seemingly isolated location where grief, memory, folklore, and frightening supernatural forces become increasingly difficult to separate.
