About this video
Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys (2014) is a science-fiction horror TV movie directed by James Cullen Bressack, starring Shannen Doherty, Jason Brooks, Christopher Lloyd, Zack Ward, Ciara Hanna, Fred Stoller, Rachel True and Jeremy Wade. The story follows a quiet Michigan lake town that becomes the hunting ground for thousands of aggressive, blood-sucking lampreys after the creatures devastate the local fish population and spread through the water system.
As the attacks escalate, fish and wildlife expert Michael Parker and his family are caught in a growing survival crisis while town officials struggle to contain the threat. With lampreys turning pools, pipes and everyday water sources into deadly traps, Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys delivers creature-feature horror, suspense, action and dark comedy centered on a bizarre aquatic invasion. Christopher Lloyd plays Mayor Bruce Akerman, while Shannen Doherty portrays Cate Parker and Jason Brooks plays Michael Parker.
Also known simply as Blood Lake, this 2014 American TV movie runs approximately 87 minutes and combines monster-movie thrills with a small-town disaster scenario. Fans searching for killer creature horror, lamprey attack movies, aquatic monster films, survival horror and campy science-fiction thrillers will find a distinctive entry in the genre.
