About this video
Seventh Son (2014) is a fantasy adventure film directed by Sergei Bodrov, starring Jeff Bridges, Ben Barnes, and Julianne Moore. Set in a world threatened by dark supernatural forces, the story follows Tom Ward, a young man who becomes the apprentice of John Gregory, an experienced monster hunter known as the Spook.
As Tom begins his training, he is drawn into a dangerous battle against the powerful witch Mother Malkin, who seeks to unleash darkness and restore her former power. Guided by Gregory and challenged by forces beyond his experience, Tom must learn to confront terrifying creatures, dark magic, and the dangers that come with his destiny.
Featuring a blend of fantasy, action, adventure, magic, witches, supernatural creatures, and medieval-style settings, Seventh Son delivers a visually driven journey centered on courage, mentorship, good versus evil, and the struggle against an ancient supernatural threat. The film also features Alicia Vikander, Kit Harington, Djimon Hounsou, Olivia Williams, and Antje Traue, adding to its ensemble fantasy cast.
