About this video
De Piraten Van Hiernaast: De Ninjas Van De Overkant (2022) is a Dutch family adventure film that brings together pirates, ninjas, comedy, and exciting neighborhood rivalries. As a continuation of the popular De Piraten Van Hiernaast (The Pirates Next Door) film series, this adventure introduces a new clash between the pirate family next door and their mysterious ninja neighbors, creating a playful story filled with unexpected encounters, action, and humor.
Billy Donderbus and his pirate family feel at home in the peaceful Dutch village of Zandwijk until a family of ninjas moves in across the street. Pirate captain Hector Donderbus is determined to drive away the newcomers, but his son Billy develops an unexpected friendship with Yuka, the ninja family's daughter. Their growing bond complicates the rivalry between the two families and threatens to change everything.
Directed by Pim van Hoeve, the film stars Samuel Beau Reurekas, Matti Stooker, Celeste Holsheimer, Kyana Pacis, Egbert Jan Weeber, Tygo Gernandt, Sarah Janneh, and Jung Sun den Hollander. The story builds toward the village's annual sporting competition, where pirates and ninjas face off in a spirited battle of strength, agility, clever tricks, and teamwork.
Presented in 1080p BluRay quality with 5.1 surround sound, De Piraten Van Hiernaast: De Ninjas Van De Overkant (2022), also known internationally as Ninjas Down the Street, is an entertaining choice for fans of Dutch family movies, pirate adventures, ninja action, children's comedy, and feel-good films about friendship overcoming rivalry.
