About this video
Savage Mountain (2026) is a gripping Nordic documentary that explores the extraordinary and controversial mountaineering journey of Norwegian climber Kristin Harila, who set out to conquer all 14 of the world's highest mountains in record time. Directed by Even Sigstad, this powerful documentary takes viewers into the extreme world of high-altitude climbing, ambition, endurance, and the personal sacrifices behind extraordinary achievements.
In 2023, Kristin Harila and her climbing partner Tenjen Lama Sherpa accomplished what many considered impossible by summiting all 14 peaks in just 92 days. However, their remarkable achievement became overshadowed by controversy surrounding their final ascent of K2 and the tragic incident involving Pakistani porter Mohammad Hassan. Through previously unseen expedition footage and personal perspectives, Savage Mountain examines the events that sparked international debate about mountaineering ethics, responsibility, ambition, and the human cost of record-breaking adventures.
Featuring Kristin Harila and Tenjen Lama Sherpa, this compelling sports documentary goes beyond spectacular mountain expeditions to explore the complicated realities behind fame, determination, controversy, and the pursuit of extraordinary goals. With breathtaking Himalayan mountain footage and an emotionally powerful real-life story, Savage Mountain offers an insightful look into one of modern mountaineering's most debated achievements.
Experience Savage Mountain (2026) in 1080p WEBRip quality with 5.1 surround sound. A must-watch documentary for fans of mountain climbing, adventure documentaries, extreme sports, true stories, Himalayan expeditions, and real-life mountaineering journeys.
