As a spiritual successor to Jolly LLB (2013), the 2017 film expands the franchise with a bigger legal battle, memorable performances, and a thought-provoking story that explores the gap between justice and influence.

The story follows Jagdishwar Mishra, popularly known as Jolly (Akshay Kumar), a small-time lawyer in Lucknow who dreams of making a name for himself in the legal profession. As the case moves into the courtroom, the stakes rise, revealing uncomfortable truths about corruption, accountability, and the challenges faced by ordinary people seeking justice.

Featuring an engaging performance by Akshay Kumar as the ambitious yet evolving lawyer, Jolly LLB 2 also showcases Huma Qureshi as Pushpa Pandey, Jolly's supportive wife, and Annu Kapoor as the formidable advocate Sachin Kantilal Mathur. Saurabh Shukla returns as the memorable Judge Sunder Lal Tripathi, bringing his distinctive comic timing and commanding courtroom presence to the film.
